Christ Gospel Church of Pinellas Park welcomes those who are seeking to know God in a deeper way. Christ's Love and Fellowship are extended to all who desire to accept Jesus into their hearts. We are an unashamedly Spirit-filled, Bible-believing Church. Our goal is to love and spread God's Love while teaching and preaching a Crucified and Living Christ to every "Dying" soul that longs to know the God of the Bible, the Lord Jesus Christ, and His love toward them.
Our desire is that all who come into our Church encounter Jesus in a new and greater way. We strive to teach how one can gain a closer relationship and grow in Him, as explained in Ephesians 4:11-15.
11 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;
12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:
13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:

OUR STORY
Christ Gospel Church of Pinellas Park was founded in January of 1984 by a group of people who had a desire to go on for God with all that they had. With the help of pastors, Revs. Robert and Gloria Jones, they began to meet in various rented spaces. As God moved and blessed the congregation their membership grew and they began to search for property to purchase for their church. Due to racism in the area, African-American pastors were often hindered from buying property.
Fortunately, however, Rev. B. R. Hicks (Founder of Christ Gospel Churches Intl. Inc.) and her daughter Beverly (A Real Estate Agent) came to assist in obtaining a church property. After much prayer, searching, and hard work they were able to purchase a property on 60th street in Pinellas Park, FL. .
CGC Pinellas Park has thrived under the diligent leadership of Revs. Robert and Gloria Jones for almost 40 years and they are still going strong.
